Brian Dooley began playing the Scottish bagpipes at the age of 8 with the Saffron Kilts Pipe
Band. He later went on to join and compete with the New York Metro Pipe Band, winning the
Garde 3 Eastern united States Pipe Band Association championship and being apart of the band
that won the Grade 2 North American Pipe Band Championship and Grade 3B World Pipe Band
Championship. Currently he is working on his Doctorate in classical guitar at the Eastman
School of Music in Rochester, NY.
